CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is an annual electronics show organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). Held in January at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, us , the event typically hosts presentations of latest products and technologies within the consumer industry .
The first
CES was held in June 1967 in New York City. It was a by-product from the Chicago
Music Show, which, until then, had served because the main event for exhibiting
consumer electronics. The event had 17.5k attenders and over 100 exhibitors;
the kickoff speaker was Motorola chairman Bob Galvin From 1978 to 1994, CES was
held twice each year: once in January in Las Vegas known for Winter Consumer
Electronics Show (WCES) and once in June in Chicago, referred to as Summer
Consumer Electronics Show (SCES).
CES 2020
The
53rd CES will be held in Las Vegas from 7 January to 10 January 2020.Apple
Computer will be attending its first CES since 1992.

Who Can Attend
CES may
be a trade-only event for people 18 years aged or older and affiliated with the
buyer technology industry. CES is not open to the general public. Friends,
family and children under the age of 18 will not be granted access to the
event.
